The HZ-CC-525 brings a warmer, more considered aesthetic to the classroom. The 9-ply beech plywood shell is steam-bent and sanded to a smooth natural finish, then clear-lacquered or stained. It carries the same sled frame and EN 1729 size range as the HZ-CC-410, making the two models interchangeable on a standard desk row.
All timber components are sourced from FSC-certified supply chains. The FSC chain-of-custody certificate is included with every order, supporting schools' and institutions' sustainability reporting requirements.
Clear lacquer preserves the natural grain; walnut stain gives a richer tone suited to library environments; white stain creates a Scandinavian-influenced look popular in European markets. Custom RAL colours are available on orders of 200+ units.
Each shell blank is steam-bent in a single pass rather than cut from flat stock, aligning the grain direction with the curvature load path. The result is a stronger, lighter shell than equivalent CNC-routed alternatives.
The HZ-CC-525 sled geometry is identical to the HZ-CC-410, so the two chair models can be mixed within the same classroom row — useful when part of a classroom needs to be upgraded without replacing all chairs.
